Greetings and a warm welcome to Purrvana Cattery! We are a Council licensed and TICA registered passionate cattery dedicate in breeding exceptional pedigree Maine Coon kittens that embody the true grandeur and charm of this remarkable breed.

Our Breeding Philosophy

Our focus lies in nurturing health, temperament, and breed standards to create not just beautiful cats, but loving lifelong companions.

Each of our breeding cats is carefully selected, celebrated for their majestic size, lush coats, and gentle, sociable personalities. To ensure the highest quality and well-being in our kittens, we uphold rigorous standards in all aspects of our breeding programme.

Luxurious Breeding facilities

Our cats never live in cages. They have carefully decorated spacious cat rooms add up to more than 50 sqm which includes natural wooden climbing structures, multi-level platforms for lounging, custom-built cat trees and interactive toys.

All kittens follow our carefully structured three-stage development processes:

  • 0-5 Weeks: A quiet and exclusive nursery room is provided for kittens and mum.
  • 5-8 Weeks: Mum and kittens stay in a training room where they get litter training, independent eating, climbing and play development.
  • 9 Weeks and above: kittens explore other rooms with other cats, waiting to meet their new owners.

Genetic screening and veterinary checks:

  • All our cats are genetically clear(N/N) from the most relevant genetic diseases of this breed which includes HCM, SMA, and PK-Def.
  • All kittens receive two general veterinary check-ups, 1st and 2nd vaccinations(including Felv), microchip and deworming.
  • Breeding cat all receive annual booster and regular health check-ups.

Premium Nutrition:

We prioritise a balanced, high-quality diet consisting of raw food and premium dry kibble to promote robust growth and vitality.

  • Akela grain-free dry food (contains 90% Chicken, Turkey, Egg & Fish, 10% Fruit, Veg and Botanicals and 0% Grains)
  • Raw complete
  • Whole prey (day-old chicks)

A Commitment of Love

Many people may not realize that breeding requires immense time and effort, often bringing pressure and emotional challenges, and very expensive. At times it can even be heartbreaking, yet we remain fully devoted to ensuring every cat grows up healthy and happy. We provide exceptional care, enrichment, and love to our feline family.
